“Why are you doing this?”
Good question.  Frankly, advertising costs are a big part of everyone’s budget.  We are just choosing to put our budget into lower-priced  cabins!  This promotion will help us fill cabins that would have otherwise sailed empty, and we believe that by offering lower priced cabins to new cruise travelers like you is a better use of our marketing dollars than to advertise on television or in magazines.  Plus, travelers provide on-board revenue from those passengers that like to gamble (a great casino) or party in the clubs on board (we make great Pina Coladas).  And with our first class service, along with our fantastic entertainment and dining on board the ship, we believe that you’ll come back again and again.  Plus the word-of-mouth advertising doesn’t hurt either… So that’s why we are willing to do this.
